FAQ

SRIRAM Group of Institutions with four decades of experience in the field of Education is one institute which has created a distinct brand image in a very short span of time. The USP of the institute is its teaching- learning model, which provides its students a different learning experience by exposing them to a blend of theory and practice.
Live projects, Case discussions, Quizzes, Seminars, Industrial visits are all integrated into the regular schedule. Students are provided a lot of training and value addition courses in Life Skills and Employability traits to ensure a smooth transition from a student to a professional.

The current times are times of stiff competitions and joining a particular course and procuring a degree pertains to fulfillment of mere eligibility and not suitability for a job. Anybody who completes a management course does not deserve a job only because he has a pass certificate. He or she would require a lot of skills which are essential to gain as well as retain employment.

At SRIRAM the focus is equally on enhancing the suitability along with the eligibility. Employability skills training modules are integrated into the curriculum from the very first trimester. Life Skills workshops are conducted from time to time and a lot of events; pertaining to development of diverse skill sets; are conducted throughout the academic year. 100% placement assistance is available not only in bringing employment opportunities to the college but equipping the students with skills that a surety bonds for decent recruitments.

Both PGDM and MBA cater to management education but there are some major differences. The course content of MBA is rather rigid and does not allow any updating from the side of the institute. Whereas the PGDM program is regularly updated as per the current norms and requirements of the industry. This makes PGDM programs more industry oriented and emplyability centric in its approach and dissemination of knowledge. This is the reason why most of the premier institutes like IIM’s, Narsee Munjee, ISB, S.P Jain etc offer PGDM programs and not MBA degrees.

We ensure 100% placement. This year the batch saw Rs. 3.25 Lakhs  as the average compensation offered to 70% of our management students. Out of 65 companies that participated in the process, students accepted the offers from 56 companies wherein 34% companies were new recruiters.
The programme is Industry oriented and we believe in giving industry exposure to our students. Therefore, we conduct around 12- 15 industrial visits in and around Delhi inclusive of one Foreign Tour (for PGDM students).
To nourish and refresh students, SRIRAM focuses on conducting various Conferences and Seminars in the field of Marketing, Finance and HR.  Recently we conducted a National Conference in Marketing, titled as “Strategic Shift in Globalized Economy”  which was attended by eminent academicians and industry experts. Apart from this we also organize events like,  Cultural festival , Sports meet and the Management fest.A lot of corporate lectures and Industrial visits are organized throughout the academic year. There are various clubs in the college dedicated to specific management specializations which provide exposure and opportunity for diverse development. Personality development workshops and Employability training sessions are activities that go hand in hand with academics
This is a very valid question and most of the time we find that students are confused in selecting their career path. To answer this question SRIRAM has collaborated with AIMA that has recently launched MAST (Management Aptitude and Skill Test). This test is specifically initiated to bridge the gap between education and employment market. It evaluates managerial skill sets and industry readiness of management students and benefits both recruiters and fresh management pass outs. This gives an idea to our students about their level playing field that also helps them in choosing their career path.
